Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on September 14, 2017, Maryland State Police troopers, Frederick County deputies, and City of Frederick Police officers responded for a report of an armed robbery. Initial information indicated that an adult black male, teens to early twenties with a slender build, wearing a black mask, hooded black sweatshirt, blue jeans, white gloves, and white and black shoes, entered the gas station and brandished a black semi automatic handgun at an adult female employee.
