Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Robert Allen “Robbie” Johnson, 56, of Woodsboro, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly in an Ultralight Plane Crash on August 18, 2018. Born on September 29, 1961 in Frederick, he was the beloved son of Edward and Jeannette (Wachter) Johnson. Rob never knew a stranger and enjoyed many events with family and friends. The connector road between Fountain Rock Road and Stauffer Court that runs behind the Sheetz will be opened during a ceremony Wednesday, August 22, 2018. The Town of Walkersville will officially open the road constructed with support from Sheetz at 6:30 p.m. The road was originally to be built with funds from the Century Center industrial complex that was annexed into Walkersville years ago. The Town of Walkersville will have a Meet the Candidates Night on August 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Walkersville Library. While the rest of the country fixates on the mid-term elections in November, Walkersville residents have an important election looming much sooner. The Town will elect a Burgess and five Town Commissioners on September 10, 2018. The election already proves to change the make-up of the local government dramatically.
