Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Frederick County Career and Technology Center and the Frederick County Student Construction Trades Foundation held a groundbreaking ceremony in Walkersville for the 33rd Student House Project on Friday, November 1, 2019. Members of the Board of Education joined Walkersville officials and residents in support of the CTC and Foundation’s latest project. The new home site’s address is 12 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, Maryland 21793. This lot sat empty as part of the T.R. Saylor Company’s property. On Friday, October 25, 2019, Fern Hines, loving wife to George and mother to four, passed away at the age of 74. Fern (Stevens) Hines was born March 13, 1945 in Frederick, MD to Paul and Charlotte Mae (Turner) Stevens. Fern married George James Hines on March 16, 1962, a union that lasted 57 years. Fern is preceded in death by their son, George James Hines Jr. (Jim).
