Robert Howard Jr.
Robert “Bobby” Joseph Howard, Jr. was called home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2018, at age 72 in Frederick, MD. Born on September 12, 1946, Bobby was the son of the late Robert J. Howard Sr. and the late Mable E. Ambush.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Patricia A. Howard, father Robert J. Howard Sr., mother Mable E. Ambush, step-father Bernard “Duck” Ambush, sister Nettie Howard, mother-in-law Hedy Lookingbill, sister-in-law Carolyn Baker; brother-in-law Luther Ray and niece Tina Jackson.
Bobby is survived by his daughter Shawn Johnson of Martinsburg, WV; son Robert J. Howard, III (Jolie) of Roanoke, VA; brother Michael Howard, Sr. (Linda) of Walkersville, MD; sister Patricia Ray of Walkersville, MD; 7 grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-law; 6 nieces; 6 nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Bobby will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Quinn Chapel AME Church (106 E. 3rd St, Frederick). A repast will be held at the Quinn Chapel Christian Center (132 E. 4th St., Frederick).
