Fraud Alert
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office has received multiple fraud calls today for similar frauds/scams. Several victims reported that an individual called claiming to have been in an accident with someone related to them or a friend. In one case the scammer told the victim that a friend had backed into their car, and that a child had been injured.
