Town of Walkersville MS4 Meeting
There will be an MS4 meeting held next Tuesday, April 11, at 2pm in the Town Hall meeting room. This meeting will be with the HOA’s of Deerfield, Glade Town, and Colony Village, discussing possible storm water management projects for their properties. The Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit is a permit administered by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) in order to carry out the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program implemented by the Federal Clean Water Act (CWA). The meeting is open to the public.

Armed Robbery at Walkersville Safeway
Maryland State Police are investigating an armed robbery, which occurred this morning in Frederick County. Shortly after 8:05 a.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Safeway grocery store, located in the 100 block of Walkers Village Way in Walkersville, Maryland.
