The COVID-19 pandemic won’t stop Walkersville High School from celebrating its graduating class. Walkersville High School Principal Tracey Kibler and her staff continue to work diligently to keep students on track. While schools were abruptly closed in March and students switched to distance learning, it meant the cancellation of many rites that students expect as seniors. No prom. No awards ceremonies. The Walkersville Planning Commission is beginning the process of updating the Town’s Comprehensive Plan (last adopted in 2011). The Plan is a statement of the vision for the Town’s future.
