The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing development plans, considering changes to planning-related ordinances, and updating the Town Comprehensive Plan. **PARKS COMMISSION OPENING** The Town is currently looking to fill one position on the Parks Commission. The Parks Commission recommends policies and procedures, purchases and upgrades, and uses and activities for the town parks. The commission meets the first Wednesday of the month. This is an advisory committee to the Burgess and Commissioners, and members serve 2-year terms. No experience is required, but you must be a Walkersville resident.
