Walkersville Parks Commission Opening

**PARKS COMMISSION OPENING**

The Town is currently looking to fill one position on the Parks Commission.

The Parks Commission recommends policies and procedures, purchases and upgrades, and uses and activities for the town parks. The commission meets the first Wednesday of the month. This is an advisory committee to the Burgess and Commissioners, and members serve 2-year terms. No experience is required, but you must be a Walkersville resident.

Individuals can submit a letter of interest, along with pertinent qualifications, to Town Hall Staff by May 1, 2023. Letters can be mailed or dropped off at Town Hall, 21 West Frederick Street, P.O. Box 249, Walkersville MD 21793, or emailed to parkscommission@walkersvillemd.gov. Any resident that has applied for a commission within the past year, and would like to be considered for this position, please just notify the town, as we already have your information on file.
