Governor Hogan Expands Phase One Openings to Include Outdoor Dining and More

Governor Larry Hogan announced that the state is now testing 10,000 patients per day. 300,444 tests have been completed as of today. Contact tracing capacity has increased 500% to find and fight the virus. The statewide positivity rate peaked at 26.9% on April 17, 2020. Frederick County residents who wish to register to vote in the June 2, 2020, Presidential Primary Election are reminded that the deadline for voter registration is 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.  The same deadline applies to voters who are already registered and wish to make changes to their name, address, or party affiliation before the Primary Election. Grant to Help Low- and Moderate-Income Households with Energy Saving Home Improvements

Frederick County residents can save money by making their homes more energy efficient. Funding through the Power Saver Retrofits Program will help low- and moderate-income households to have energy audits conducted and energy-efficient home improvements made. Improvements and audits will be funded through a $155,984 Clean Energy Communities grant that was awarded to the Frederick County Office of Sustainability and Environmental Resources by the Maryland Energy Administration.
