Robert “Bob” Clement Snyder, age 90, former State Police Frederick Barrack Commander and Sheriff of Frederick County, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at his home in Woodsboro. Born July 22, 1928 in Cumberland, he was the seventh child of the late Andrew Daniel and Carrie Mae Gibson Snyder.  Robert was raised on a farm in West Virginia and graduated from LaSalle High Institute in 1947. Born on May 22, 1968, in Frederick, she was the daughter of Stephen Lenwood Smith and Marjorie Sue (Eagle) Smith of Jefferson, MD. Kim graduated from Frederick High School in 1986. James Monroe Stup, a lifelong dairy farmer, died on January 25, 2019 at Homewood at Crumland. Jim was born on January 1, 1929 at the Staley family home on Bloomfield Road. He had recently celebrated his 90th birthday with family and friends. He was the oldest child of Monroe W. and Margaret Staley Stup.
