Barry Lynn Wiles, 50 of Walkersville passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 of complications from Cancer at Frederick Health Hospital. Born on March 3rd, 1970 in Frederick he was the son of Robert and Carolyn Wiles of Emmitsburg. He was a 1988 graduate of Catoctin High School, and a 1992 graduate of Elizabethtown College. Franklin Anders Shirley Trail, Sr., 86, of Frederick, formerly of Walkersville, passed away on May 26, 2020 at Somerford Place, Frederick. He was the husband of the late Rachel (Flook) Trail, his wife of 58 years until her passing in 2009. Born on December 10, 1933, he was the son of Vernon Trail and Hilda (Burdette) Trail. Jon Daniel Wisner, age 62, of Thurmont, died Thursday morning, May 28, 2020 at his home, following a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born February 17, 1958 in Frederick, he was the son of the late A. County Expands Phase One Re-Opening and Announces $2 Million for Volunteer Fire & Rescue

After two-weeks of a decrease in acute care beds and a plateauing of ICU beds used for COVID-19 patients, fewer patients needing ventilators, and the delivery of 100,000 gowns, N95 masks, and gloves this week, Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner announced the expansion of Phase One Re-Opening tomorrow.
