Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Winpigler Fund Supports Montevue Residents Dental Care

Helping seniors with dental care has been near and dear to Grace Winpigler’s heart for many years. Mrs. Winpigler is again making a difference in people’s lives with a grant from The Grace Brashear Winpigler Dental Healthcare Fund, one of more than 679 component funds of The Community Foundation of Frederick County. The grant will help provide dental care and treatment for residents of Montevue Assisted Living and Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center of Frederick who have financial need. Mrs. Frances Irene Reichard, 84, of Walkersville and formerly of Frederick, died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of C. Lee Reichard for 67 years. Born October 30, 1932 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Blanche King. Frances was a longtime member of Calvary United Methodist Church, where she participated in the Women’s Circle and the Friendly Circle Sunday school class. Tonight, the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company Carnival features The Shades Band on stage, and the Rides Special – one ticket per ride (student only) from 6 – 10 p.m. Tonight’s buffet from 4:30 until 7:30pm in the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s air conditioned hall features Fried Shrimp and Roast Turkey. The Carnival Committee and Rosedale Amusements have decided to continue with the Carnival as planned for Thursday July 6th, 2017. After reviewing various weather forecast sources, we are hoping for the weather to clear in time for the Carnival tonight. The Reagan Years band will take the stage at 6pm.
