All registered and eligible voters in Frederick County and across Maryland will receive ballots in the mail for the June 2 Presidential Primary Election. The Maryland State Board of Elections will mail the ballot to the address on file for every voter. Voters should receive their ballots by mid-May. Animal Control Investigates Circumstances of Severely Injured Raccoon

The Frederick County Division of Animal Control is currently investigating the circumstances of a severely injured raccoon. The raccoon was found near the intersection of Locust Drive and Orchard Drive in Thurmont, Md., on Thursday, April 9, at approximately 12:15 p.m. Animal Control Officers are seeking the public’s help to identify the individual in the photograph below.
