The route is subject to change at anytime without notice. Parade will start at the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company (79 W. Frederick St) at 1:30PM

Right onto Frederick St, right onto Rt 194, left onto Antietam Dr, right on Raleigh Rd, left onto Hickory Hill, left onto Antietam Dr, left onto Rt 194.

Left onto Adventure Ave, right on Inspiration Ave, right on Discovery Blvd, left on Stauffer Rd, left onto Rt 194.

Continue onto Rt 26, right onto Waterside Dr, right onto River Run Rd, left onto Waterside Dr Across Rt 26 onto Sebastian Blvd, right onto Derrs Square W., left onto Wheyfield Dr, right onto Latham Dr Right onto Rt 26, continue onto Rt 194 north to light at high school.

Left on Kershner Rd. Right on Vista Glen Rd. Right on Dylans Way. Right on Fountain Rock Rd, right on Creek Walk Dr, right on Biggs Ford Rd.

Left on George St, left on Glade Rd. Right onto Bedrock Dr, right on Polaris Dr, left on Greenwich Dr, across Bedrock to left on Polaris Dr, right on Bedrock Dr, right on Glade Rd, right on Winter Brook Dr.

Right on Glade Rd Right on Devilbiss Bridge Rd, cross Rt. 194 to Daysville Rd, right on Water Street Rd, right on Silver Crest Dr, left on Deer Run Dr to stop sign. Right and stay on Braeburn Dr to Deer Run Dr, left on Deer Run Dr. Cross Rt 194 to Daysville Ave.

Right onto Glade Ave, right on Albany Ave E., cross Farmingdale Ave onto Albany Ave W. Left on Highlander Blvd, left onto Burlington Ave, right onto Farmingdale Ave to right on Daysville Ave. Left on Highlander Blvd, Left on Glade Ave, left on Cramer Ave, left onto Sandstone Dr.

Left onto Rt 194. Right onto Challedon Dr, left on Glade Blvd, right onto Crum Rd, right on Wyndale Dr, left on Glade Blvd, left onto Rt 194.

Right on Frederick St, right on South Glade Rd, left on Pennsylvania Ave, left on Main St, right on Frederick St, right onto Fulton Ave, left on Pennsylvania Ave, left on Maple Ave, Right on Frederick St. Right on Georgetown Rd, left on Hampton Pl, Left on Sherwood Dr, Right on Georgetown Rd, Right onto Frederick St back to Station 11.

Total time is approximately 2.0 hours to compete parade. Therefore, it is not possible to give a specific time Santa will be in each neighborhood. We’ll see you out there!!

Annual Fire Company Banquet

The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company #11 celebrated a very successful 2022 at its annual banquet this past Saturday. All active members were thanked for their tireless efforts in fundraising, responding to emergency calls, and supporting the Company in other aspects. Award winners included:

Presidential Special Appreciation Award: Vaughn Zimmerman; in recognition of his years of service as a weekly Bingo caller.

Member(s) of the Year: Jean Brooks and Ellie Gilbert

Chief’s Award: Matt Staley

Most Valuable Responder: Chase Tracey

Firefighter of the Year: Dalen Hahn

Honorary Life Member: Chad Barrick

The 2023 officers were also installed before the crowd sat back and enjoyed an evening of fellowship and lot of laughter. A special thank you to Vigilant Hose Company and United Steam Fire Engine Co #3 for providing staffing during the evening.
