What Is Wrong with Amanda Bynes?

Amanda Bynes, the celebrity known for starring in Hairspray (2007),  What I Like About You (2002), She’s The Man (2006), and finally Easy A (2010) has rapidly gone downhill. Everyone who has looked at her tweets is wondering what is wrong with her.

Recently, Bynes went on a tweeting rant that included accusations against her father. “I need to tell the truth about my dad.” Then she went on to accuse her father of rape, and molesting her. The tweets are now deleted. The last tweet, “My dad never did any of those things The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he’s the one that ordered them to microchip me.” So, anyone and everyone reading those tweets are wondering what is wrong with her.

There have been rumors of her having schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Bynes’ mother, Lynn claims that her daughter does not have any mental disorders.”Amanda has no mental disorder whatsoever. She has never been diagnosed as a schizophrenic or bipolar,” says Lynn to E! News. However, when Amanda was getting treatment in a Ventura County psych hospital, she was given drugs to treat schizophrenia and she spent weeks in the UCLA psych ward.

Last year Bynes name covered the headlines of all magazines due to her twitter rant under the influence of marijuana (according to her mother, that was the reason for the vulgarity of the tweets.) Soon afterwards, she was hospitalized and put under the care of her parents. Bynes’ lawyer Tamar Arminak insisted that she does not have schizophrenia. “She does not have Schizophrenia,” says Arminak to People Magazine.

Arminak says that Bynes had never had a history for strong drug or alcohol abuse, and that she has been marijuana-free for the past nine months. In her darker months, Bynes went through different hair color stages, wigs, and cheek piercings. She also tweeted her amorous feelings toward rapper Drake.

In July Bynes was found setting her driveway in California on fire. Afterwards, she was hospitalized.

The California resident was attending courses at the Fashion Institute Of Design and Merchandise since January. The former actress has no plans to return to acting, but instead pursuing a career in fashion design.
