Sunroom Addition on Sandstone Drive
The owners of 215 Sandstone Drive would like to build a sunroom on the rear of their home. The 12′ x 12′ addition will be on the Walkersville Planning Commission’s agenda Tuesday evening.
The addition will be too close to the rear yard line according to town code. As such, the addition must come before the Planning Commission for approval. The ordinance takes into account the impact an addition that does not meet the required set-back may have on their properties.
The rear of the property shares a property line with Trout Park. As such, there are no rear neighbors to protest the rear set-back. The park is owned by The Town of Walkersville. Neighbors will be able to weigh-in on the addition, however approval seems likely.
