Shooting in Discovery
A security guard for Goodwill was shot multiple times while he sat in his silver Hyundai behind the Goodwill store at Discovery Shopping Center. Police have identified the victim who was transported to Shock Trauma, but will not release the identity until the family is notified.
Maryland State Police and Frederick County Sheriff Deputies continue to search for a suspect on land and by air. K-9 units are scouring the area and a perimeter has been established around Inspiration Avenue and Stauffer Road.
Police believe the suspect may have left the scene in a car, but they continue to search the area.
