Reward Offered in Discovery Homicide Investigation

A reward is offered in an ongoing Maryland State Police homicide investigation in Frederick County.

The deceased is identified as Gennady “G” Errigo, 19, of Walkersville, Maryland. On October 22, 2017, around noon, Errigo’s body was discovered in a wooded area adjacent to the Discovery neighborhood in Frederick. Two hunters were in the area when they discovered his body.

Investigators believe Errigo was last seen walking through the Discovery neighborhood on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Police believe he was wearing grey sweatpants, brown boots and a black shirt tied around his waist.

There was no indication of violence or foul play in the area surrounding the location he was found. As police continue to search for leads in this case, they ask for assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for his death.
