Recycling Dumpster Christmas Schedule
The Town of Walkersville’s Recycling Program has rescheduled the availability of the recycling dumpster for its second collection this month. The recycling dumpster will be at Walkersville Town Hall, 21 W. Frederick St on Monday, December 29th instead of Wednesday, December 24th.
The Town of Walkersville partners with Frederick County to provide a recyclables dumpster twice a month at Walkersville Town Hall. The dumpster is regularly provided on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The dumpster is provided for all Frederick County residents and businesses. An attendant provides supervision and assistance for recycling.
This month, the second collection date falls on Christmas Eve. So, the dumpster will not be available on that date. Instead, the recycling dumpster will be available on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
