New Burgess and Town Commissioners Sworn In
The Town of Walkersville began a new chapter with a new Burgess and Town Commissioners Wednesday evening. Chad Weddle, who has served as a Town Commissioner for the past nineteen years, took the oath of office becoming Walkersville Burgess before a large crowd in Walkersville Town Hall. Mr. Weddle succeeds Ralph Whitmore, who served as Burgess for the past sixteen years.
A new board of Town Commissioners were also sworn into office. Four incumbents and one newly elected official comprise the new board. Debbie Zimmerman, Russ Winch, Don Schildt, and Gary Baker returned as Town Commissioners. Mary Ann Brodie-Ennis begins her first term as a Town Commissioner. Burgess Chad Weddle swore in the Town Commissioners.
