Info
I am running for State Senate because I believe Frederick and Carroll Counties deserve a true conservative Senator.
To quote one of my heroes, President Ronald Reagan, we need to be a party of bold colors, not pale pastels. During my four years in office, I have voted against every O’Malley budget and every tax increase. In addition, I have introduced legislation to stop the implementation of Obamacare, and I am strongly pro-life. I also received an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association.
Maryland’s crushing level of taxation is hurting families and businesses. My opponent, Sen. David Brinkley, has voted 46 times to raise taxes and fees. I am the only candidate for state senate who has voted against every attempt to raise your taxes.
When I am campaigning door-to-door the number one issue I hear about from voters is taxes. I have signed the “No New Taxes Pledge.” I believe we need to cut taxes in order to ease the financial burden on Maryland families and businesses.
