Long Time Community Thrift Shop Managers Retire
Over the years, they greeted shoppers with smiles, and provided assistance to those in need. Kathy and Barry Malonis dedicated their service to the community for many years as the managers of Glade Valley Community Services‘ Community Thrift Shop. After years of volunteering to help others, Kathy and Barry have retired as managers of the Community Thrift Shop.
They always turn attention and credit away from themselves onto the other dedicated volunteers. Barry and Kathy give their time selflessly, and dedicate themselves to helping others in the community. On many occasions, they would open the Thrift Shop, any time of day or night, to provide clothing to those in extreme need such as families who had lost everything in a fire.
The Glade Valley community wishes them well and thanks them for all of their years of dedicated service.
