Circle K Armed Robbery

Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on September 14, 2017, Maryland State Police troopers, Frederick County deputies, and City of Frederick Police officers responded for a report of an armed robbery.

Initial information indicated that an adult black male, teens to early twenties with a slender build, wearing a black mask, hooded black sweatshirt, blue jeans, white gloves, and white and black shoes, entered the gas station and brandished a black semi automatic handgun at an adult female employee. The employee was able to run to an office and lock the door.

The suspect fled the scene on foot less than one minute after entering the gas station.

Upon arriving on scene, a perimeter was established and a K-9 track was conducted by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office. Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division and Crime Lab personnel responded for scene processing.

At this time it is not believed that anything was stolen and there were no injuries reported.

The investigation is continuing and any member of the public with information that could lead to identifying the suspect is encouraged to contact the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack at 301-600-4150.
