Autumn Means Pumpkin Spice Latte

The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word “fall” or “autumn” is a pumpkin spice latte. This delicious treat from Starbucks is one of many popular seasonal drinks brought into the store once every year.
Whether you prefer hot or cold drinks, these flavors come in both Latte and Frappuccino versions. Apple Crumble, Pumpkin Spice, and Salted Caramel Mocha are three fall-inspired flavors brought back each year. Pumpkin Spice Lattes are one menu option that tends to be extremely popular. When asking students their favorite fall seasonal drink, junior Claire Raimist said “Salted Caramel, because it’s really sweet from the caramel, but then you have the salt, and it’s a really good mix of flavors.”
Gingerbread, Eggnog, Toffee Nut, Orange, Peppermint, and Caramel Brulee, are a few of the options returning in November. These Christmas-inspired drinks bring the customer a feeling of warmth and happiness which reminds them of the greatest time of year. Raimist said “Winter drinks get me in the mood for Christmas, which is my favorite time of the year, so it makes me really happy.”
Sophomore Cody Strange said, “The Peppermint Latte reminds me of Christmas.” Although Christmas brings more seasonal options, these flavors don’t even compete with the Pumpkin Spice Latte. This drink features flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and real pumpkin pie spices. With your choice of a Latte or Frappuccino, this drink guarantees to be a Fall favorite.
Senior Mallory Donaghue said “I love the seasonal drinks because they add a new pizzazz to the menu!”
