2019 Drug Take Back Program – Medicine Disposal
Walkersville will be one of four sites offering Medicine Disposal in Frederick County this year. On Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., residents can safely dispose of their unwanted or expired medicines at the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company.
The event is for residential disposal of medicines only.
Syringe disposal will also be available. Syringes must be separate from medicines.

All events will run from 8:00 a.m. until Noon.
The Medicine Disposal Events are held in cooperation of Maryland State Police, Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue, and the Frederick County Health Department.
