“Frederick County has the 3rd highest County Property Tax Rate in Maryland, yet our roads are congested, our schools are overcrowded and public safety is being compromised with first responder positions underfunded. Mismanaging the growth and development in Frederick County did not happen overnight and every other candidate in this race has served in office for 8 to 16 years. Its time for a change, Elect a Qualified Citizen, Not a Politician, Vote Regina Williams for County Executive on June 26th.”
Regina Williams was born and raised on a dairy farm in Frederick County with strong family roots vested in this community. She is the daughter of Debbie Williams, founder of the Patty Pollatos Fund (PPF) and John Williams Jr., owner of the J Bar W Ranch. She is the proud mom of her 10 year old daughter Sierra. Regina attended Frederick County Public Schools and graduated from Linganore High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Hood College and her Master’s Degree in Accounting & Financial Management from University of MD University College (UMUC).
Regina is a CPA with 25 years of experience in local government, small business and corporate finance. She is currently employed at BMC Inc, a full service accounting firm in Frederick. Prior to this, she worked in the Finance Division of Frederick County Government for 14 years. For the first time in history, Frederick County has AAA bond ratings from all three agencies.
