Jagger Ezra Lawson

Jagger Ezra Lawson, age 16, of Keymar, died Sunday, September 3, 2017 in a skateboard accident in Walkersville. Born March 18, 2001 in Frederick, he was the son of Kris Lawson of Ijamsville and Sherry Few of Keymar. Jagger would have entered his junior year at Walkersville High School. He enjoyed skateboarding, music, hanging out with his friends, video games, Snapchat, his Grandma Pat’s cooking and spending time with his family. Today We Grieve the Loss of Lion

Parents, Students and Community Members, We opened our school this morning to 1104 students.  Unfortunately our halls and hearts were missing one.  As many of you may have heard or have become aware, one of our students, Jaggar Lawson Grade 11, died suddenly Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle while on his skateboard near Heritage Park.  As with any incident similar to this, we are deeply saddened as a school and community.  Our deepest sympathy goes to Jaggar’s family and those who were close to him.  Our support…

Geraldine “Gerry” Virginia Ramsburg, 85, of Walkersville,MD passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Glade Valley Center in Walkersville. She was the beloved wife of the late James Ramsburg. Born April 6, 1932 in Walkersville, MD she was the daughter of the late Murray Monroe and Viola C. Wachter Craver. Gerry was a 1951 graduate of Walkersville High School where she captained many of the schools sports teams.
