Accident at MD 194 and Glade Boulevard
At 8:49 a.m. this Sunday, units from Walkersville Volunteer Resecue and Fire Companies were dispatched for a vehicle accident at MD 194 and Glade Bouulevard.
Duty 24 arrived on the scene to find two vehicles involved in a rear-end collision with a patient still in the car, and cars still in the roadway. After checking on the patient, Duty 24 requested a medic for a patient with trouble breathing.
Engine 111 arrived on the scene to block traffic and stabilized the vehicle.
Ambulance 248 arrived on the scene to start patient care. Rescue 24 arrived on the scene to assist with blocking traffic.
One patient was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital.
